Naplan assessments tend to have should/shouldn’t questions.
o Divide into groups of 3- assign a facilitator and someone for and someone against
o Draw up FOR/ AGAINST on page
o Each group given different topic

Should water restrictions be

Should swearing be allowed on
daytime tv

Should violent video games be

Should social media be a
subject in schools

Should cigarettes be illegal

Should the legal voting age be

Should animals be kept in

Conclusion-
o Group presents their main argument for and against to class.
o Class decides which way they believe going off only what arguments
were presented.
